Ahoy everyone!

Happy Birthday

It's the time of the year again, that I have to show my girls that mom doesn't only make birthday cakes for other children, but for her own daughters as well...

So this year (to my delight...) I didn't have to make two cakes for my 5 year old twins birthday party, but one cake with a theme that sort of involves two "best buddies".

These characters always makes my girls laugh, and to be honest they make me laugh as well...

Ladies and gentleman's, put your hands together for "best friends"...

my summer fruit cake

MY SUMMER FRUIT CAKE
This easy to make delicious cake can be baked as a cake or as individual’s muffins...yummy!
And here it is:

(For 10-12 muffins or one 12” cake tin)

Put your oven on 150◦

1 cup of sugar
¾ of a cup of vegetable oil
4 medium eggs
1 tee spoon of bio carbonate of soda
2 ½ cups of plain flour
2 green apples – grated
Summer fruits – blueberries, raspberries, black berries etc.- as much or as little
1-2 table spoons of honey
Mix the sugar, oil, eggs and soda until combined together
Add the flour, grated apples, and honey and mix together in a mixer.
Add the fruits (leaving some aside) and mix with a wooden spoon gently so the fruits won’t brake completely. Pour the mixture into muffin cases or into an oiled and floured cake tin and sprinkle on top the remaining fruits (push them a little bit in so they wont roll off the cake/muffin).

now....this is the trick...
Bake it on 150◦ on a fan program for 10 min and then put it on the regular oven program (usually it looks like this = only more spacious) for another 20 min (for the muffin another 10 min).
Again, raving is promised!!
Try and let me know what you think!

BON APETIT!

My 5 Min delicious chocolate cake

The beauty of this cake is that it doesn’t involve any whipping, electric mixer, separating eggs, or any other complication. Just chuck it all in a bowl and mix it all together with a wooden spoon.

I promise you....people wont stop raving you over this cake!!!

It’s a good cake for children’s birthday party, for those who has milk allergy, and with a nice fancy chocolate ganach on top it’s a brilliant cake for a dinner party.

And here it is:

PUT YOUR OVEN ON 180◦

2 CUPS OF SELF RAISING FLOUR
2 CUPS OF GOOD DRINKING CHOCOLATE POWDER
1 CUP OF SUGAR
1 CUP OF WATER
1 CUP OF VEGETABLE OIL
4-5 EGGS (DEPEND ON SIZE)

IN A BOWL MIX ALL THE DRY INGRIDIENTS TOGETHER. ADD THE REST OF THE INGRIDIENTS AND MIX IT WITH A WOODEN SPOON UNTIL MIXTURE IS SMOOTH AND HAVE NO LUMPS.
GREASE YOU’RE BAKING PAN AND FLOUR IT. POUR IN THE CAKE MIXTURE AND PUT IN THE MIDDLE SHELF OF YOUR OVEN FOR 45-60 MIN.

WHEN A WOODEN SKEWER COMES OUT CLEAN FROM THE CAKE- ITS READY!!
